From August 18th to 28th, artists in the Broken Forests Eco Artist Group, with members coming from Ontario, Brazil, and British Columbia, will be making the trip out to Wells for the artist-in-residency program. Including installation and performance artists, “Actions Supporting Forests” will aim to explore art, ideals, and notions around activism, and how these things help to form connections with the forest. Participants will, over the course of the residency, explore what an eco-artist’s messages could be, can be, and cannot be.
