Artists’ call for submissions
CALLING ALL ARTISTS!
Island Mountain Arts Public Gallery (IMA), is hosting a call for applications for the 2027/2028 season!
We will be celebrating the 50th anniversary of its first Summer School for the Arts in 2027!
The IMA gallery is located in the town of Wells, BC on Lhtako Dene territory. This is a traditional land use area of the Dakelh and Secwepemc people. Rich in history and strongly influenced by generations of artists, IMA has been honoured to provide a gallery space for both emerging and established artists.
We are hoping that our 2027 Gallery programming will feature a mix of artists that have been supported by IMA in the past, as well as new friends. Regional and Northern Artists will receive particular consideration.
If applying to the IMA gallery interests you, the provided gallery space has 12 foot high walls, and a total of 75 linear feet of wall space. With up to 6 shows in one year from the month of April to October, our last call for submissions produced twice the amount of submissions necessary to fill the gallery space for 2 years straight.

Our Application form is the preferred method of application submission, but please let us know if this presents a barrier to you.
The application form cannot be saved and revisited.
