About the Workshop
In this beginner-focused 4 week course, you will learn the fundamentals of making a lap (or “couch” quilt) from the start, including:
The tools and materials needed to start quilting
How to measure and cut the components of your quilt
Piecing
Borders
Straight-line quilting
Binding
What we’ll supply you:
Materials for the top of the quilt
Batting

Pen or pencil and a notebook
What we have to lend:
Only 2-3 sewing machines are available to use. Please let us know if you are able to bring your own machine and a manual.

Your own backing (we’ll discuss this in the first class)
