Your Instructors:

Sarah Genge is an artist and filmmaker who lives and creates on the ancestral, occupied traditional lands of the Coast Salish people: the Squamish, Tsleil-Waututh, and Musqueam nations. Genge’s work explores the subtleties of everyday life and the wealth of information that can be drawn from hyper-focused and highly personal examinations of the quotidian. Sarah dearly misses enjoying conversations with new people.

Jasper Wrinch is a musician and writer living and working on Nex̱wlélex̱m and the unceded territory of the Sḵwx̱wú7mesh (Squamish), xʷməθkʷəy̓əm (Musqueam), and Səl̓ílwətaʔ/Selilwitulh (Tsleil-Waututh) Nations, otherwise known as Vancouver, BC. Jasper is a multi-instrumentalist and composer, as well as a session bassist. He has recorded, performed and toured with a variety of artists,  appearing at many renowned festivals, including Vancouver International Jazz Fest, ArtsWells, Campbell Bay Music Festival, Khatsahlano Music + Art Festival, and Tiny Lights Festival, among others.

Jasper and Sarah have been in Wells since the beginning of January working on a documentary about the town.
